Hi, I’m Lindsey!

(she/her/hers) I am an assistant professor of international relations (IR), specializing in feminist IR, in the Department of Political Science at the University of Florida. I am also an affiliate faculty member in the University of Florida’s Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science and a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Iowa in 2022. My research focuses on the intersections of gender and global conflict, with particular emphasis on women’s experiences in armed rebel movements. My teaching philosophy is student-centered, and I am passionate about cultivating equitable learning environments in institutions of higher education.
